European sea bass is a fish of the Moronida family found in the Mediterranean Sea and the northeast Atlantic coast. His body is elongated. This particular species has silver color, while the juveniles black spots on their back and their side. Silver is a bit darker on the back and lighter towards the belly. Its name “dicentrarchus” is due to the presence of two dorsal fins, the anterior triangle and the back trapezoid. Sea bass lives in coastal waters, to depths up to 100 meters.
